উত্তম, সুন্দর ও যথাযথ শব্দ, বাক্য ও ভাষা ব্যবহারের উপকারিতা

কথা বলার ক্ষমতা মানুষকে অন্য সকল প্রাণী থেকে আলাদা এবং উচ্চ মর্যাদা দান করেছে। মহান আল্লাহ তার পবিত্র গ্রন্থ কোরআনের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় এ ব্যাপারে উল্লেখ করেছেন। যেমন

১।

“বলুন, ‘হে কিতাবধারীগণ! এসো এমন একটি ন্যায়সংগত বাণীর/কথার দিকে, যা আমাদের ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান—আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সঙ্গে কোনো কিছুকে শরিক করব না এবং আল্লাহকে বাদ দিয়ে আমরা একে অপরকে প্রভু হিসেবে গ্রহণ করব না।’ অতঃপর তারা যদি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলুন, ‘সাক্ষী থাকো যে, আমরা মুসলিম—তাঁর কাছে আত্মসমর্পণকারী।’”

“তুমি কি লক্ষ্য করনি, কীভাবে আল্লাহ একটি দৃষ্টান্ত উপস্থাপন করেছেন—একটি উত্তম বাণীর, যা একটি উত্তম গাছের মতো; যার মূল সুদৃঢ়ভাবে প্রোথিত এবং যার শাখাগুলো আকাশে বিস্তৃত?”

“আর তার চেয়ে সুন্দর কথা আর কার হতে পারে, যে আল্লাহর দিকে আহ্বান করে, সৎকর্ম করে এবং বলে, ‘নিশ্চয়ই আমি মুসলিমদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।’”

৪।

“পরম করুণাময়,
তিনি কুরআন শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন,
মানুষ সৃষ্টি করেছেন,
এবং তাকে বাক্‌প্রকাশের দক্ষতা শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন।”
৫৫:১–৪

চার নম্বর আয়াতে আরবী শব্দ “বায়ান” ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে যার অর্থ হতে পারে - উচ্চারণ, প্রকাশ, বোধগম্য কথা, প্রাঞ্জল/সুবক্তৃতাপূর্ণ ভাষণ, ব্যাখ্যা।

“আর তাঁর নিদর্শনগুলোর মধ্যে রয়েছে আকাশমণ্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি এবং তোমাদের ভাষা ও বর্ণের বৈচিত্র্য। নিশ্চয়ই এতে জ্ঞানীদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে।”

“আর মুশরিকদের কেউ যদি তোমার কাছে আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করে, তবে তাকে আশ্রয় দাও, যাতে সে আল্লাহর বাণী শুনতে পারে। তারপর তাকে তার নিরাপদ স্থানে পৌঁছে দাও। এটি এজন্য যে, তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায় যারা জানে না।”

তদুপরি পুরো কোরআনটাই আল্লাহর কালাম বা কথা যা সমগ্র বিশ্ববাসীর জন্য রহমত ও হেদায়েত। তাই আসুন আমরা সবাই সুন্দর ভাষার প্রতি মনযোগী হই ও সুন্দর ভাষায় কথা বলি। মানুষকে অনুপ্রাণিত করার, সান্তনা দেয়ার, ও কাছাকাছি আনার শক্তি ও ক্ষমতা আমাদের শব্দ, আমাদের কথার মধ্যে নিহিত রয়েছে।

 

 

The benefits of Using Good, Beautiful, and Appropriate Words, Sentences, and Language

The ability to speak is one of the qualities that distinguishes human beings from all other creatures and gives them a special and elevated status. Almighty Allah has mentioned this in various places in the Holy Qur’an. For example:

1.
“Say, ‘O People of the Scripture! Come to a just word that is common between us and you: that we worship none but Allah, associate no partners with Him, and do not take one another as lords instead of Allah.’ But if they turn away, then say, ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims—those who submit to Him.’”
Qur’an 3:64

2.
“Have you not considered how Allah presents an example—a good word, like a good tree, whose root is firmly grounded and whose branches reach into the sky?”
Qur’an 14:24

3.
“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah, does righteous deeds, and says, ‘Indeed, I am one of the Muslims.’”
Qur’an 41:33

4.
“The Most Merciful,
taught the Qur’an,
created humankind,
and taught them eloquent expression.”
Qur’an 55:1–4

In the fourth verse, the Arabic word “Bayān” is used. It can mean speech, expression, clear communication, intelligible speech, eloquent discourse, or explanation.

“And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Surely in this are signs for those who have knowledge.”
Qur’an 30:22

6.
“And if any one of the polytheists asks you for protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the Word of Allah. Then escort him to a place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.”
Qur’an 9:6

Moreover, the entire Qur’an is the Word (Kalam) of Allah, sent as a mercy and guidance for all humanity.

Therefore, let us all be mindful of the language we use and make an effort to speak with beautiful, appropriate, clear, and meaningful words. Our words have the power to inspire, guide, comfort, and bring people closer together.
